Pharrell Williamsがニューヨーク大学で音楽の特別クラスをしていたそうです。そこにいたMaggie Rogersさん。

その特別クラスを開催した際にこのMaggie Rogersが歌う“Alaska”を初めて耳にしたPharrellは、その素晴らしさから涙目になり、曲を聞き終わって一言「Wow.」とコメント。続いて「俺から言うことはない。Wu-Tang Clanを初めて聞いたときほどの衝撃」というコメントも残している。
